The Columbia City Council holds the first of three public hearings on the 2020 budget on Monday night.
City manager John Glascock says sales tax revenues keep dropping, so some tough choices have to be made on city services.
The council will probably officially approve Glascock’s contract Monday night. He will make $180,000 a year, a higher base salary than the former city manager, Mike Matthes.
