While Missouri House members passed a bill that some say could gut the provisions of the Sunshine Law, Callaway County’s Travis Fitzwater wasn’t among them.
“I voted no on the bill because I think the voters voted on Clean Missouri pretty resoundingly.”
The bill would close public officials’ records to the public, especially those e-mails and other messages from lawmakers’
constituents. Missouri Senators get the measure next.
