Legislation involving flood prevention will be heard Monday afternoon by a Missouri House committee in Jefferson City.
The House Conservation and Natural Resources Committee will hear a bill from State Rep. Louis Riggs (R-Hannibal).
His House Bill 2328 allows the State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) to enter into contracts to lease dredging equipment from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for flood prevention.
