Ashland’s former police chief has a new job.
Lyn Woolford was sworn in on Thursday as a police officer at the Missouri Capitol.

Woolford was put on leave as Ashland’s chief in February. He sued the city and the mayor at the time to get his job back, but that did not happen. Woolford was named America’s favorite crossing guard last year.
