Former Columbia school official admits to stealing

The former chief financial officer of Columbia Public Schools has pleaded guilty to receiving stolen property.

ABC 17 reports Anna Munson admitted Thursday to a felony for taking more than $17,000 from the bank account of the booster club of a high school band in the St. Louis area a couple years ago. She was the club treasurer.

Munson was hired by Columbia schools in May 2017, but resigned this past March.
