Former congressional candidate’s child pornography case in federal court

A former congressional candidate from Columbia’s child pornography case is now in federal court.

A motion tied to Nate Irvin’s bond was filed on Monday in Missouri’s Western District.

Investigators say they found child pornography on Irvin’s computer while executing a search warrant at his place on Northhampton Drive in May. They also allegedly found meth.

Irvin ran as a Democrat and lost to Republican incumbent U.S. Rep. Vicky Hartzler in 2014.
