Former Fulton superintendent appointed to city council; he’s excited about appointment

A familiar name throughout the Kingdom of Callaway has been appointed to fill a vacancy on Fulton’s city council.

Mayor Steve Myers has appointed Jacque Cowherd to the council, and the city council has finalized the appointment.

Mr. Cowherd served as superintendent of the Fulton 58 school district for 11 years and has served on Fulton’s Public Utility Board. He describes Fulton as a great community and a great place to live.
