Former Glasgow official accused of misusing city funds

The state auditor’s office says Glasgow’s former city administrator and police chief is behind some funny business with taxpayer money.

The audit says Kevin Atwood got $4,000 to pay off personal credit card purchases. More than $4,000 in cash came up missing too. Three guns are missing also, through a city program.

Atwood resigned late last year. A whistleblower tip started the Missouri Auditor’s office investigation in 2017.

A link to the audit is here.
