Former Hickman choir director back in local jail on stalking charges

A former local choir director is back in Boone County Jail on charges of stalking and violating restraining orders.

Matthew Felts, 38, was booked early Tuesday morning.

A man who has filed a restraining order against Felts claims Felts has threatened to kill him, and has been harassing him at work. Online court records show Felts has had restraining orders place on him several times. He was let go as Hickman choir director after arrests for stalking in late 2014 and early 2015.

Felts was arrested in Colorado in September.
