A planned redevelopment at Jefferson City’s old International Shoe Factory is on the way.
The city council gave approval this week for a developer to build a “fun factory” and apartments at the site just east of the old state prison.
The Oregon-based firm plans to have a restaurant, mini golf, and even axe-throwing lanes on the first floor, with apartments on the upper levels.
The old factory has stood since the 1800’s.
