Former principal sues JCPS for discrimination

A former principal at Lewis and Clark Middle School is suing the Jefferson City school district.

Sherri Thomas alleges the superintendent and an assistant superintendent made racially insensitive comments to her and others.

The court documents claim administrators created a “racially hostile, ageist, retaliatory environment.”
