Former US Rep candidate arrested on child porn charges

A former candidate for the state’s 4^th Congressional District is under arrest on child porn charges.

30-year-old Nate Irvin of Columbia lost to Vicky Hartzler in the November 2014 election.

He was arrested Wednesday after investigators carried out a search warrant at his home, where they found evidence of alleged child porn.

Irvin’s bond is set at $20 thousand.   The Versailles native ran as a Democrat in the 2014 race.
