Columbia Police say four people were shot early New Year’s morning, following a disturbance at the Silverball downtown.
The victims suffered non-life threatening injuries. ABC-17’s Joshua Blount reports witnesses saw two men shoving each other, before the incident.
CPD detectives say they intervened in the incident after being dispatched to a disturbance at the bar. As officers arrived on-scene, multiple shots were fired.
Police say shots were not fired at officers, and that police did not fire their weapons.
