The Columbia-based U.S. Exercise Tiger Foundation says 13 Missourians and a Mizzou graduate died that day at the World Trade Center. They’re hosting a 7:45 am ceremony in front of the Boone County Courthouse. State Rep. Kathy Steinhoff (D-Columbia) and others will speak.

A wreath-laying ceremony is scheduled for 10 this morning at Mizzou’s Traditions Plaza. The Boone County Fire Protection District’s Pipe and Drums will provide music, along with Mizzou students and faculty. Columbia Mayor Barbara Buffaloe and Mizzou provost Matthew Martens will speak.

There will also be a flyover at that event.
