Callaway County authorities have arrested the man who they say left a small child on the side of the road and led them on a chase.
Kevin Jones, 32, was arrested after deputies finally tracked him down Saturday night at a home on County Road 204 northwest of Fulton.
Investigators say Jones was pulled over west of Williamsburg at County Road 163 and Old Highway 40 late Friday. He allegedly removed the little kid from the car during the traffic stop and took off. The deputy stayed with the child, who was not hurt.
