Two arrests after Fulton police officer hit by suspect’s car

Authorities make two arrests after a Fulton police officer is hit by a car.

Fulton Police said Drew Pierce, 31 of Lincoln, Neb. and Ronnie Lloyd, 31, of Fulton are now in jail on several charges after the incident Monday at around 5 p.m.

Investigators say the officer got in a chase with the suspect’s car near Highway 54 and Route F. That stolen car stopped in a rural area northwest of town on Callaway County Road 230 west of Route HH.

When officers got out of their car, Pierce and Lloyd took off again, hitting one officer. Those officers shot at the suspect’s car, but they got away.

The officer who was hit is in good condition at last check.
