Fulton to receive $3.4M loan for rising gas costs

Fulton’s city council approves a loan agreement to offset an increase in gas rates.

ABC 17 reports the Missouri Department of Natural Resources will loan $3.4 million to the city. Heating gas prices went way up in Fulton during extreme cold weather in February that caused gas wells in Oklahoma and Texas to freeze up.

The city council approved the agreement Wednesday.
