The City of Columbia officially has a new city manager.
John Glascock was sworn in, in Mayor Brian Treece’s office on Thursday morning.
Glascock will make $180,000 a year, more than the annual salary of the last permanent city manager, Mike Matthes.
Other benefits include a vehicle allowance.
Glascock was announced as the next city manager in July 2019.
