Gov. Mike Parson announced a mega vaccination event is coming to Springfield soon.
The governor’s office said Wednesday the state-supported event will happen Thursday, April 8 and Friday, April 9 at the Missouri State University student center. The state plans to fully vaccinate up to 10,000 Missourians at the event.
Coronavirus case increases stayed low in mid-Missouri Wednesday. Boone County had only seven new positives, and active cases fell to 46. Hospitalizations stayed the same, at 16. Cole County reported just six new cases.
