Governor Parson said Wednesday he didn’t say what he wanted during a radio interview last week on re-opening schools.
Parson gained national attention when he said last week kids that return to school and get infected with coronavirus would “get over it.”
“What I was trying to say, is that there is a very real possibility that there could be COVID-19 in our schools, and we want to be prepared for that,” said Parson during his press briefing Wednesday.
The governor also announced Wednesday that $20 million in CARES Act funding will go to various small meat and poultry processors across Missouri.
