Gov. Parson: No major coronavirus case increases since Thanksgiving

Gov. Mike Parson said Wednesday Missouri has not seen a large increase in coronavirus cases since the Thanksgiving holiday.

“While we are still experiencing high volumes of cases, our numbers have been stabilizing,” said Parson.

Parson thanked Missourians for changing holiday plans to align with social distancing requirements, and hopes that they do the same for the upcoming Christmas holiday.

The governor also encouraged people to get a COVID-19 vaccine once it is widely available. The first doses started going to health care workers this week.
