Gov. Parson: Phase one of re-opening plan to begin May 4

Gov. Mike Parson rolled out the state’s plan for re-opening in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic.

Phase one of the re-opening plan will begin May 4 and run through May 31.

Parson said Monday all businesses will be allowed to open, but must practice social distancing. Nursing homes and assisted-living facilities will still be off-limits to the public. Retail businesses will have limits on the number of occupants, too.

The governor added some communities may reopen slower than others.
