Gun confiscation law talk continues after Wal-Mart incident

Your state and U.S. lawmakers might take a serious look at putting red flag gun confiscation laws on the books.

Cole County Prosecutor Locke Thompson says “if an individual fits the criteria for someone who is unstable and has an arsenal of guns in their basement, that might be something we need to take into consideration.”

Thompson adds, while he doesn’t want to second-guess the prosecutor in Springfield, he says he thinks the charge of making a terroristic threat is appropriate for the armed man who scared shoppers at a Walmart there last week.
