Boone County Sheriff’s deputies arrest a suspect after gunshots in west Columbia.
ABC 17 reports deputies found evidence of 15 gunshots on West Millbrook Drive near Scott Boulevard late Saturday night. Deputies say they found James Brison, 39, of St. Louis lying on the ground and apparently suffering from a medical condition. They found a handgun on him, and took it away. He was taken to the hospital, and then booked into jail.
No injuries were reported, but investigators say they found bullet holes in the front door of a home.
