Sturgeon’s fired police chief could return to work as soon as Tuesday.
The Daily Tribune reports a judge has ordered the city violated Greg Halderman’s due process when he was canned in 2017. The judge said Sturgeon officials did not give Halderman written notice of the reasons they were firing him.
Halderman was let go while facing allegations of alcohol abuse and disregard for public safety. The judge says he was not looking at those claims while making his ruling.
