A Harrisburg man is accused of a deadly hit-and-run in Columbia over the weekend.

  1. Let’s see the details first. Was there a marked, flashing light crosswalk? Was the pedestrian wearing dark clothing? Was the pedestrian intoxicated or impaired? What are the lighting conditions at that location?
There’s a lot more to these kind of stories than just “car hits pedestrian”. When walking across that super busy area, it’s really wide, and you have to be on your toes not to get hit. It’s not always the drivers fault.
