A Hartsburg man charged with murder after the death of his father has been denied bond.
Collin Knight, 23, appeared in court Tuesday for a bond hearing. He’s facing charges of first degree murder and armed criminal action after his father, Paul Knight, 52, was found dead inside a home between Ashland and Hartsburg on Friday. Court documents say Paul Knight died after being stabbed more than 15 times.
Collin Knight had previous convictions of domestic assault dating back to 2019. He’s now in the Boone County jail.
