30th annual Hartsburg pumpkin festival is this weekend; thousands to visit town of 105

Thousands of people from across mid-Missouri will be in Hartsburg for this weekend’s 30th annual pumpkin festival. The festival began in 1991 in Hartsburg, which has some of the most productive farmland in Missouri.

Festival hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday. The event will begin with Saturday’s 9 o’clock parade.

Festival organizers remind attendees that Route A will be closed to festival traffic with the exception of motorcycles.

Traffic will be heavy both days. You will need to follow specific directions entering the leaving the festival. Here is a link to those directions.
