(MissouriNet) Senator Josh Hawley gets an eyeful of the damage and flooding in and around Jefferson City.
He used the visit to blast Democrats in Congress for tying up a new disaster bill.
“Do not bargain with the lives and the livelihood of the people of my state.”
Hawley, who’s lived in both Ashland and Columbia, says he’s never see anything like it before.
He adds he’s pushing hard to get FEMA assistance here as soon as possible.
