Missouri U.S. Senator Josh Hawley says it’s time for Democrats to give up the legal fight against the Trump administration.
That comes after the attorney general’s summary of the Mueller report says there was no collusion between the Trump camp and Russia in 2016.
“What we’re hearing is there are no indictments to come out of this. I mean surprise surprise, it doesn’t look like there’s anything there, but let’s have the facts,” Sen. Hawley said to KFVS.
It is not clear one way or the other whether President Trump obstructed justice, according to Attorney General William Barr’s summary. Democrats say they want to see the full Mueller report.
