Hearing for ex-Glasgow official accused of stealing

A former mid-Missouri city official accused of stealing tax dollars has a hearing scheduled for Thursday at 10 a.m.

An audit found about $3,200 disappeared while Kevin Atwood was managing the money in Glasgow. He’s the former city administrator and police chief there.

Atwood allegedly used the cash to pay off some personal credit cards. He’s charged with felony stealing.
