A hearing on legalizing sports betting was scheduled for Tuesday morning in the Missouri Senate.
The bill would allow the wagering at state casinos, or online if you are physically in Missouri. Facilities that want to have sports gambling would have to pay the state a $10,000 application fee.
The U.S. Supreme Court last year opened the door for states besides Nevada to have sports betting.
