While severe weather is not expected Tuesday or Wednesday, the National Weather Service (NWS) in St. Louis says mid-Missouri could see downpours and wind gusts.

NWS St. Louis senior service hydrologist Mark Fuchs tells 939 the Eagle that Columbia, Jefferson City and Fulton could see heavy downpours, lightning and wind gusts of 30 to 40 miles an hour today into Wednesday. But he does not expect severe weather in the listening area.
