Heavy fire does serious damage to a Jefferson City house.
Crews say the fire started at about 3:30 p.m. Monday in the rear of the house on East Franklin Street near Jefferson Street and Highway 54.
No word anyone was hurt. Investigators are trying to find out what caused the fire.
