We did not come close to setting a record for rain on Saturday. But it was enough to shut down several mid-Missouri roads for a while due to flooding, including Route E just northwest of Columbia near Twin Bridges.
Columbia Regional Airport recorded about 1.5″ rain on Saturday. The record for that date was roughly 2.7″.
The forecast calls for dry but cool conditions the next few days.
