Holts Summit’s police chief crashes motorcycle into deer

A motorcycle rider is badly hurt after crashing into a deer.

The Highway Patrol says the accident happened at 5:20 p.m. Sunday on Highway 94 near Mokane.

Gordon McIntyre, 51, of Holts Summit slammed his Harley into the deer. He has serious injuries.

McIntyre is the police chief of Holts Summit.
