A teenager is dead after an alleged home invasion on Wednesday night.
Columbia police said 17-year-old Joseph Taylor was hit by gunfire and died after he and another person invaded a home on Doris Drive.
Officers said the person who lives in the home admitted to shooting Taylor.
The other unidentified suspect is still on the run. He is described as having short hair, wearing jeans, a white shirt and white shoes.
The investigation is ongoing.
