Single-family home prices decreased in June 2026 in Columbia and Boone County, but slightly.
The Columbia Board of Realtors says single-family home prices were down in June in Boone County by one percent, with the median sold price at $350,000. Prices were also down in Columbia, but less than the county. The Board of Realtors says single-family home sales priced under $500,000 were up 12 percent in June, while sales of homes priced over $500,000 declined 13 percent.
The Board of Realtors also say condo sales are down 16 percent in the first half of 2026 and could continue to struggle as Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac begin implementing changes to underwriting guidelines.
The Board of Realtors also says home sales are up three percent in Boone County for the first half of 2026, and the median sales price is up five percent to $345,000.
