Human remains found at Rocky Fork Lakes

Human remains were found Saturday at the Rocky Fork Lakes Conservation Area in Boone County. The Missouri State High Patrol is investigating. The remains were transported to the Boone County Medical Examiner’s office for identification and to determine cause of death. The investigation is ongoing and troopers are asking the public for information. The Rocky Forks Lakes Conservation Area is about 10 miles north of Columbia just east of Highway 63 near Finger Lakes State Park.
