Human remains near Sedalia

Human bones have turned up in some woods southeast of Sedalia.

Authorities say a state conservation agent found the remains Saturday evening near the Eagle Brook Farm subdivision. The remains and other evidence were taken to Columbia to study more.

No word yet on who the person was, or how long the remains were there.
