It’s looking like ten years in prison for a man tied to a northeast Columbia killing a year ago.
Jeremy Humphrey on Monday was sentenced to six years in prison for involuntary manslaughter, and four years for unlawful possession of a firearm. The judge ordered the sentences served consecutively.
Humphrey was arguing with 31-year-old Nathan Taylor on McKee Street just before Taylor was shot and killed in September 2017. He pleaded guilty to the lesser charges last month.
