Hundreds demonstrate against racism downtown again

It was one of the biggest Mid-Missouri protests in weeks against racism and police brutality.

ABC 17 reports hundreds of people met near the Boone County Courthouse in downtown Columbia on Sunday. They called for the convictions of the Minneapolis officers arrested over the death of George Floyd last month, and the arrest of the officers connected to the death of Breonna Taylor in Louisville.

Columbia Police closed intersections while protesters marched, but the demonstrations stayed peaceful.
