JC schools to end mask requirements

Mask requirements are lifting at several Jefferson City schools.

Starting Monday, Lincoln University will stop requiring masks on campus. The Jefferson City School District will also take away its mask requirement for the second half of summer school starting June 21.

Coronavirus case increases stayed low in mid-Missouri. Boone County added four new positives Thursday, and active cases went down a little, to 59. Hospitalizations held steady, at 30, but are limiting resources again. Cole County had five new cases.
