A curfew has been put into effect in an area of downtown Jefferson City that stretches from 9pm Thursday until 5am Friday.
The area under curfew spans north to south from the Missouri River to Stadium Boulevard, and east to west from Madison Street to Lafayette Streets.
Nobody is permitted to be in that area outside of approved officials and media.
The city has the option to extend the curfew for the next few days during those times if need be.
