Jefferson City business owner admits to tax evasion

A Jefferson City business owner pleads guilty to tax evasion.

Ryan Phegley, 39, admitted in federal court on Tuesday he did not pay taxes on more than $600,000 in income. He owned and operated Phoenix Freight Lines.

Phegley has to pay more than $180,000 in restitution and is looking at up to five years in prison.
