Jefferson City looks for neighborhood flooding fixes

Neighborhood flooding issues rarely include a quick fix.

But Jefferson City Public Works Director Matt Morasch says he’s studying how to prioritize those areas that frequently end up under water.

“Those fixes will probably have great big price tags with them. In some cases, maybe there will be some small things we can pick off.”

Morasch says some recommendations from a consultant have resulted in some easily done repairs that were handled by the in-house crew.
