Jefferson City man dies in jet ski crash at Lake of the Ozarks

A Jefferson City man dies after crashing on a jet ski at the Lake of the Ozarks.

Troopers say Russell Rauba, 62, was riding his jet ski on the lake just after noon Wednesday. His jet ski hit a wake and became airborne, causing Rauba to hit the vehicle on the way down, slide off and lose consciousness.

Rauba was pronounced dead at the hospital.
