Jefferson City man pleads guilty in meth conspiracy

A Jefferson City man pleads guilty in federal court to helping deal meth that came from the state of California.

Javier Rosser, 32, admitted Tuesday to one count of conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine.

Prosecutors say 42-year-old Shadeed Muhammad would mail pounds of the drug from Compton, California to different people in mid-Missouri, but it was eventually meant for Rosser. Rosser sent money back to California for the drugs, then he dealt it here.

Muhammad and another man have already pleaded guilty. Rosser is facing at least ten years in prison.
