Police arrest the man accused of shooting another man at a Jefferson City apartment complex.
Prosecutors charged Kavante Ware of first-degree assault and more. He allegedly shot a man at Heritage Apartments on Monroe Street late Wednesday night.
Ware was arrested Thursday at a home on East Ashley Street. He’s now in jail with no bond.
The victim was in the hospital at last check.
