Jefferson City’s mayor says she hopes city government will get its share of the CARES Act dollars assigned to Cole County.
“In order for the city to continue to function, and everybody else to be able to do what they need to, then the basic city services have to function and continue,” Tergin said on The Mike Ferguson Show.
Tergin says city leaders made their pitch to Cole County Commissioners on where they think a portion of that $9 million should go. She says Jefferson City has incurred large costs during the pandemic.
